As a Pacific Northwest Color Management Users Group event, I will be giving a talk about the challenges of keeping very high craft alive and well in this digital age. I come from a background of demanding standards in fine art and commercial photography, and am interested in how the evolution of our tools and methods help us meet those high standards set by generations of master photographers. We’ll discuss my own methods and frustrations with color management, and also more off-the-wall unusual applications of color management to achieve desired results.
Think I’ll bring some prints too, should be fun.
