John Steinbeck’s 1962 travelogue, Travels with Charley in Search of America, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2012. To honor this best-selling publication, Randy Wells has produced a book project that combines quotes from Steinbeck’s story with notes and photographs from his own cross country expedition.

Randy provided files from both digital capture and film scans with remarkable color, the prints were made on Canson Rag Photographique 310.
